Geology & Resources

The Pribrezhniy deposit is situated within the Balkhash-Junggar system, a world-class copper belt formed by Andean-style volcanic activity. The project’s geology exhibits classic porphyry copper characteristics with several notable advantages:Â

  • Multiple mineralized zones with distinct characteristicsÂ
  • Extensive oxide cap with leachable copper mineralsÂ
  • Strong structural controls enhancing mineralizationÂ
  • Significant depth potential confirmed by drillingÂ
  • Multiple untested satellite targets within the license areaÂ

Mineralization

The deposit features two distinct styles of mineralization:Â

Oxide Zone:Â

  • Near-surface mineralization extending across both northern and southern zonesÂ
  • Primary copper minerals include malachite, chrysocolla, and copper-bearing vermiculiteÂ
  • Potential for early-stage heap leach operationÂ
  • 31.5 Mt of oxide resources at 0.39% CuÂ

Sulfide Zone:Â

  • Large-scale porphyry system with consistent mineralizationÂ
  • Primary copper occurs as chalcopyrite with molybdenum creditsÂ
  • High-grade breccia zones identified in recent drillingÂ
  • 1.349 Bt of sulfide resources at 0.37% CuEq

Mineral Resources (May 2024)

Inferred Resources at a cut-off grade of 0.2% Cu:

  • Oxide: 31.5 Mt at 0.39% Cu, 68 ppm Mo, 1.1 ppm Ag
  • Sulfide: 1.349 Bt at 0.30% Cu (0.30% Cu, 136 ppm Mo, 0.7 ppm Ag)
  • Total contained copper: 4.17 Mt
  • Additional credits: 185 kt Mo, 31 Moz Ag

Exploration PotentialÂ

Recent drilling continues to expand the resource potential:Â

  • High-grade central breccia zone remains openÂ
  • Multiple untested geophysical targetsÂ
  • Significant exploration upside within the broader license areaÂ
  • Ongoing drilling program focused on resource expansionÂ

District-Scale Opportunity

  • Located within the 40km Kounrad-Pribrezhniy NW-SE trend (“KP Trend”)Â
  • 766 km² exploration license valid until February 2029Â
  • Positioned in Kazakhstan’s most prolific porphyry belt alongside major deposits:Â
    • Aktogay (2.2Bt @ 0.37% Cu)Â
    • Aidarly (>1.5Bt @ 0.38% Cu)Â
    • Kounrad (800Mt @ 0.62% Cu)Â
    • Koksay (736Mt @ 0.42% CuEq)Â

Recent Exploration SuccessÂ

  • Significant new discoveries from Q4 2024 reconnaissance drilling program
  • Standout results include:Â
    • 50m @ 1.16% CuEq at Yuzhnaya Ploschad, including 15m @ 3.03% CuEqÂ
    • 181.9m @ 0.31% CuEq at Prikounradski IIÂ
    • Multiple broad zones of copper mineralization across two new target areasÂ

High-Priority Growth TargetsÂ
